Lamino, part 2
This heavy linen base was covered in a creme sheepskin but it was so old that it literally fell to pieces by simply touching it. This chair had never been recovered and by the state of the frame it was a very early model. All the more pleasure of reviving it. Part 3 coming soon.

Lamino, Yngve Ekström
Lamino, a chair designed by Yngve Ekström in the 1950s has been voted the most popular chair of the 20th century in Sweden. Here are the legs getting a facelift. The chair I had acquired was in oak and well worn. Sanded back oiled and now awaiting the seat to come back on. More to follow.

Bedroom curtains
New curtains for my sons bedroom. A job I don't normally do as it hasn't appealed to me. However, I really rather enjoyed it this time. In fact I now have plans to re-do another room in the house including curtains but more of that later. This fabric came from Manuel Canovas, a true favourite of mine, and paint from Farrow and Ball. The main wall was painted in a grey colour but this accent wall is my favourite. A well overdue project as my son grew out of his boy bedroom a l
